COVID-19 Protocols

We are very pleased to be sharing with you all, some good news regarding the 2021 Winter Season at WDNA. We ask that you read the following information very carefully.

The current information is aligned with the Netball WA Conditions of Competition and the WA State Government’s Roadmap for easing of Covid-19 restrictions. This information will change as the situation evolves and we move through the different phases of restrictions. We will update this page when new information becomes available.

 

There are no restrictions on the number of spectators permitted at games, however all indivduals who are aged 16 or older must sign in using the Safe WA app or contact register. Each team manager will have a copy of the QR code and contact register for convenience. 

The City of Wanneroo will be doing spot checks to make sure people are using the app and sign in sheets.  If someone is found not to have signed in, they will face receiving a fine and the club will not be responsible for the payment or reimbursement of any fine.

TRAINING

  • Attendance MUST be taken by coaches using the Google Form - https://forms.gle/CY8tv2e5gjusiowp7

  • All members (including coaches, players and spectators) who are aged 16 years and older must sign in using the QR codes on the gates.

  • Bibs are to be washed after every training session.

  • Goal post pads are to be sanitised at the beginning of every training session.

  • Sanitiser is to be used throughout every session by coaches and players.

  • All players must have their own sweat towel and water bottle. There is to be no sharing of these items at training.

  • There is no sharing of food.  Any food that is provided must be individually packaged.

  • Try to maintain 1.5 metre social distancing when possible.

 

GAME DAY

  • The club’s Game Day Liaison Officers will be our designated COVID-19 Officers on game day and will check in with managers to ensure the below has been adhered to. 

  • Attendance MUST be taken using the Google Form - https://forms.gle/H7h9NmjwyNRrDD7X9

       Please note this is a form to the training attendance form.

  • All players must have their own sweat towel and water bottle.  There is to be no sharing of these items on game day.

  • There is no sharing of food.  Any food that is provided must be individually packaged.

  • All members (including coaches, players and spectators) who are aged 16 years and older must sign in using the QR codes on the gates.

Managers will:

  • have a QR code and a sign in sheet on their clipboard each week for spectators and members to use. 

  • Check that ALL spectators, players and coaches have signed in

        NB: Records are not required to be collected for:

        - children under the age of 16 years; or

        - people entering for medical or emergency purposes (eg. a parent coming to collect an injured player).

  • need to ensure sanitiser is being used by players and coaches.

  • need to ensure post pads are sanitised at the beginning of each game. 

  • Try to maintain 1.5 metre social distancing when possible.
