Registration for the 2024 Winter Season

 

Information for the 2024 Winter season is now available. Please take the time to read through the relevant documents in detail. Please note there are a couple of noteable changes:

  • 1.49% service fee will be charged on all transactions through PlayHQ at checkout.

  • The 11 & Under age group has been removed from the WDNA competitition so players moving from NetSetGO will go straight into 12 & Under. 

  • A new 21 & Under age group has been created. It will be our recommendation that age eligible players who played in the open competition during 2023 should stay in the open competition. But players can request to play 21 & Under. Those players moving from 18 & Under will be recommended to play in the 21 & Under competition. 

  • Non-training players will not be required to sell chocolates and instead will pay the fundraising levy as a part of their registration.

Existing members

For members who played for Venetians Netball Club during the 2023 Winter season. If you did not play in 2023 but have in the past, please email our club president. Registration will be accepted through PlayHQ. 

 

Open date: 1st January 2024
Close date: 14th January 2024

New member enquiries

For individuals who are interested in joining Venetians Netball Club you will need to read the new member information and fill out the expression of interest by clicking here. Expressions of interests will be open from the 1st December 2023 until the 14th January 2024.

​

Once registrations have closed for existing members (after the 14th January 2024), those who have filled out the expression of interest will be contacted about available positions. If a position is available, new members will be invited to register and attend our grading sessions. All registered players (new and existing) will be placed in a team during the grading sessions.

Please note that Venetians does not "cut" players so if a spot is available it will be offered in order of date of  expression of interest and playing position.

HOW TO REGISTER

ALL registrations and expressions of interests must be processed through PlayHQ. If this is the first time you are using PlayHQ, you will be required to setup a new account. If you need any assistance with registering via PlayHQ please use their support page. Which can be found by clicking the link below.

Option 1: Existing member who DID play Winter in 2023 (training teams only):

Step 1:  Visit playHQ by clicking here.

Step 2: Log in with your participant ID and password.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form

Step 4: Add any additional items such as the fundraising levy (optional) and then proceed to the checkout.

 

Please note:

  1. Only a portion of fees (club fee and awards event ticket ) will be charged at this point. You will be required to fill out a second registration form prior to the commencement of grading which will be emailed to you.

  2. There will be no payment plans available.

  3. You must register prior to the 14th January 2024.

  4. If you are applying for KidSport, the voucher code can be entered during the second registration period which will take place prior to grading. This registration process will be emailed separately.

 

Option 2: Non-training teams only

Step 1: Visit playHQ by clicking here.

Step 2: Log in with your participant ID and password.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form

 

Please note:

  1. Only a portion of fees (club fee, awards event ticket and fundraising Levy) will be charged at this point. You will be required to fill out a second registration form in February which will be emailed to you.

  2. All non-training players are required to pay the fundraising levy

  3. There will be no payment plans available.

  4. You must register prior to the 14th January 2024.

Option 3: Previous members who DID NOT play Winter in 2023:

Step 1: Email president@venetiansnetballclub.com.au prior to the 14th of January 2024.

 

Option 4: New members who have not previously played for Venetians Netball Club:

Step 1:  Visit playHQ by clicking here.

Step 2: Log in with your password OR create a new account (first time users).

Step 3: Complete the Expression of Interest Form.

 

Please note:

  1. No fee is required to register your expression of interest.

  2. Positions available will depend on the number of returning members and may be limited.

  3. You will be contacted after the 14th January 2023 regarding available positions.

  4. If a position is available, you will be required to register and pay a fee upfront (see page 7) and will be asked to attend grading.

  5. During grading, you will be placed in a team. More information about grading will be sent prior to the first session.
